ClearSky is my solar system animation and celestial data analysis program that has been continuously developed and evolved since the mid 1980s. Its humble beginnings lie in a desire to demonstrate celestial principles and dynamics to the public during public star-nights and in-school classroom presentations. The creation of meteoroid stream animations for the Meteor Physics group at Western University led to my diving into graduate degrees at Western, and that led to ClearSky blossoming in the areas of improved animation quality, automation of animations from observations, searching for serendipitous images of celestial objects, and meteoroid parent body searching. Below is a potpourri of outputs from ClearSky, perhaps a bit short in length right now, but full of intent to demonstrate ClearSky’s capabilities as time allows me to post more examples.
